Starring Jerry As himself

We were tasked to drive audiences to the weeklong premier of Starring Jerry as Himself, a movie about a 70-year-old retiree who was the victim of a $1M phone scam.

How did we do it? We scammed the audience.

We created fake posters and trailers to get fans of different genres excited to see Starring Jerry as Himself, a genre-bending documentary that features the real-life scam victim as the star of the movie. We released posters and trailers for action, romance, and thriller and posted them around the IFC Center and other strategic areas across NYC.

The result was a sold-out week and an extended run of Starring Jerry as Himself.
